My First Attempt At Making a Blog and I Really Hope it Doesn't Suck

When I think of a blog I go straight to thinking of Carrie Bradshaw and sitting all cute and tiny in her brownstone apartment. Wondering how she could afford her lifestyle by just writing "and I start to wonder..." To be honest I have had plenty of attempts of writing dairy entries or simply creating evidence of my process in art making and they have each fallen off. Maybe its because I have always been more of a visual person than a literary one and was never to good at grammar or spelling, but in any case this is my earnest attempt at becoming the next Carrie Bradshaw and this is also for a grade for my Masters. HOWEVER, I do hope this becomes a habit of mine.

And I Start to Wonder...

With creating it can be so daunting especially in the age of AI. I know I love to think endlessly about ideas but exacuting and delivering a product can be utterly depressing. I mean depressing in the way that capatalistic powers influence the pureity of creation. You grow up wanting to be this or that and so sure that that will happen. But then you are faced with the crippling reality of...money. How do you make money while doing the thing you feel passionate about? I honestly think the pressure of making money has actually left people feeling lost in what their passions even are. If you do not have the luxury of taking the time to explore, it can often feel useless not to mention the pressure of age. Being in your twenties you either see people starting a family, becoming the next CEO, or wondering around like a ghost, paralyzed by the choices of life. It truly is a bad version of the game LIFE, although somedays I wish I could role a dice and someone hands me three cards to choose from, at least thats a little more helpful. I guess this will not just be a place for me to show evidence of my process but also be a place to honestly talk about the act of creation. Especially in relation to the constant push of society and my once a week existential crisis. So cheers to my first blog!
